Here are my first bath of glaze test tiles! This was also my first successful firing!

First kiln!

I'm running my first kiln today! Here's a picture of my set up and there will be pictures of the results to follow!

I've been so busy with finals and the holidays that I haven't had time to do any work on the wheel.  However, I got a kiln for Christmas so expect many more posts!!  Here are some of my most recent pieces.

White Slip plate with oxide designs, clear glaze.

Wheel thrown bowl, handbuilt flowers.  Yellow and honey glaze.

Wheel thrown bowl with handbuilt flowers.  Sundried tomato, purple, blue and green glazes.
